Ideally, and for the best experience, yes — an appointment means the boutique's full attention is on you. It isn't always necessary though: you're very welcome to visit us during opening hours. Appointments are available Tuesday to Friday, 11am – 4pm, and Saturday, 10:30am – 5pm, and other times can often be arranged on request. You can

Your first appointment is step one of the wedding gown journey. From there we'll take your measurements and carry out multiple fittings along the way, refining as we go, before your finished gown is complete.

How much do your wedding dresses cost?
Our made-to-measure wedding dresses start from £499. The price varies with fabric, detailing and how much you customise, and we'll always be clear about the cost before you order — no surprises.
How much do prom dresses cost?
Prom dresses start from £125. They're hand-selected from leading UK prom suppliers and fitted to you, so you get designer style at a price that tends to surprise people.
Are your wedding dresses really made to measure?
Yes. Every wedding gown is a Brides of Bond Street style, made to your exact measurements in-house here in Leicester — and customised to you, from the colour and fabric to the neckline and detailing.
Do you charge for alterations?
All our wedding dresses are made to measure, so there are no additional alteration charges to surprise you.
Are prom dresses made to measure too?
Some are, though not all. Our prom dresses are sourced from a selection of leading UK prom suppliers and hand-selected for quality — some styles are available made to measure, and the rest we fit to you so they sit perfectly. We'll talk you through the options for the style you love.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes. Payment plans are available so your dress can be ordered in good time and the cost spread out. We'll talk you through the options at your appointment.
What sizes do you cater for?
All of them. Because our wedding gowns are made to your measurements, petite, tall and fuller figures are all beautifully catered for.
Will you look after my dress until the big day?
Yes — we offer complimentary storage on all wedding and bridesmaid dresses, so your gown stays pristine until you need it.
Do you dress bridesmaids and the rest of the party?
Yes — we dress the whole wedding party, bridesmaids included. Just mention it when you book so we can set aside enough time.
How far in advance should I order my wedding dress?
As early as you comfortably can — made-to-measure gowns are created for you from scratch, and fittings take time. Get in touch and we'll let you know exactly what's possible for your date; we can often help with shorter timescales too.
Do you sell dog outfits?
We do. Our
Four Legged Collection — DoggieByDesign — is hand-made outfits and accessories for the most glamorous member of the family, available on Etsy and in the boutique.
Have I seen you on television?

Do you offer cleaning services after the big day?
Yes — we offer professional cleaning packages at highly competitive rates. We can discuss the options with you during your appointment.
